Claudia Gogorza
Researcher of CONICET (National Council of Scientific and Technical
Investigation of Argentina) at the Universidad Nacional del Centro
(Tandil, Argentina) since 1999, when she finished her PhD on the
analysis of geomagnetic secular variations recorded by sediments from
lakes of South Argentina. She was a Post-doc researcher at the
?Geomorphologie und Polarforschung (GEOPOLAR) - Institut fuer
Geographie (University of Bremen, Germany) in 2008 and 2010. She is
member of the Sub-committee of Geomagnetism and Aeronomy of the
National Committee of IUGG and of the Committee of the Latin-American
Association of Paleomagnetism and Geomagnetism (LATINMAG). Her
scientific interests are: Paleomagnetism and Environmental Magnetism,
rock-magnetic and paleomagnetic techniques for the examination,
correlation, and dating of Holocene-Late Pleistocene paleoclimatic and
paleomagnetic signals recorded on sediment cores of lakes and lagunas
in the Southern Hemisphere.
