Katia Pinheiro
Researcher at the National Observatory (Rio de Janeiro) since 2009, when she finished her PhD in Geomagnetism at ETH Zurich. Her PhD research involved the modelling of the mantle electrical conductivity based on impulses of the secular variations (geomagnetic jerks). Her scientific interests are: data analysis, mantle electrical conductivity, inverse problems and data assimilation.
