Proceedings
The IAU Symposium 265 proceedings will be published by Cambridge
University Press (CUP), edited by Katia Cunha, Monique Spite and Beatriz Barbuy.
We have set the following page limits to the contributions:
Invited reviews: 8 pages
Invited papers: 6 pages
Contributed papers: 4 pages
Poster papers: 2 pages
All contributions have to be prepared in LaTeX, using the style-files provided by CUP.

Color figures are acceptable but they have to reproduce well when printed in
black-and-white, as the printed edition will appear in black-and-white
(the on-line edition will be in color).
The deadline for submission of your contribution is OCTOBER 15 2009.
Please e-mail your contributions to Katia Cunha, s265 *A*T* noao.edu, by attaching the
LaTeX file and postscript figures and a pdf file of the paper. This is a firm deadline as the IAU
contract with CUP stipulates that proceedings should be published six months after the
symposium so we kindly ask that you prepare your contributions by the deadline so that we
can complete the editing process in a timely manner.
Note also that all contributors will need to complete an IAU copyright form, as your paper
cannot be published without it. The copyright form is included in the files.
